This old silver Touareg bangle was made in mid 20th century and is from Mali. It shows beautiful craftmanship with its black and red enamelling.
The Touareg are nomadic people in the western Sahara.
Their silversmiths are well known to produce beautiful jewellery using ancient techniques such as the lost wax method, forging and chiselling.
